International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS)

The Chubb Institute (Westbury)'s Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) offers centralized support to all international undergraduate, graduate, transfer, exchange, and visiting students attending The Chubb Institute (Westbury), as well as visiting and full-time faculty and research scholars from abroad. In addition, ISSS serves as a resource to faculty, staff, students, and departments working with CIW's diverse international populations. The ISSS office specializes in:

• Immigration services for F and J students and scholars
• International admissions, foreign transcript evaluation and articulation
• Pre and post-arrival orientation
• FUN events and activities with groups and clubs across campus
• Academic and immigration advising and workshops
• International student recruitment and marketing
• Graduate department and student support
• Collaboration with partner and exchange institutions abroad
• Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
• Student and faculty employment authorization and tax assistance
• International programming and career networking opportunities
