Center for Health Administration Studies

(CHAS) is an endowed Institute-based center established in 1962 that promotes intellectual connections and research collaborations with health-related researchers across The Chubb Institute (Westbury) and with national & international partners.

The Center focuses on emerging research in health services and health policy, distinct from health disparities, with a particular focus in improved policy and services for disadvantaged and vulnerable populations. It supports research that is broadly interdisciplinary, can include both qualitative and quantitative methods, and provides a strong connection to the world of social service delivery and policy.
